This Portuguese beauty’s colorful style inspires me on so many levels. How amazing is her outfit in this photo? I just adore a designer that lives and breathes her own style. Now let’s take a look at some of Maria’s work:

Working with an all-white backdrop, Maria layers cool tones of blue and turquoise. To warm it up, she adds punches of pink and peach.

That silver tray is amazing, and I imagine her book is the same (Amazon, here I come!!)

I love how all the bright warm colors stand out on the chilly color backdrop. Really makes the red tones pop!

Loving this console table. Add a coat of turquoise paint and oversized nailhead trim to a basic console table, and you have an instant statement piece. Simple as that.

Color flow is achieved from the living room into this entryway by using the same basic color scheme, but in different quantity. How amazing is that credenza?

This is another space Maria designed, more specifically, her home! It’s light, it’s bright and it’s fun. Maria definitely has a unique style.
